GOD HAS LED IN MINISTRY FOR 40 YEARS

It was four decades ago when we graduated together from Bible college and began our journey of ministry. The Lord took us to Wyoming for 16 years, then on to the mission field of Romania. God has been faithful to guide us along the way and to provide for our needs. “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.” (1 Thessalonians 5:24)

We are grateful for so many who have prayed for us and partnered with us in His work as we continue to serve our Savior.

TIMIȘOARA BAPTIST CHURCH

We would like to share some pictures that show the many ministries that take place in our international church. The regular services have been consistently full, and we have had many visitors brought by our
people. During the week, there are English clubs for adults and youth, and an afterschool program for children to provide help to parents who work later hours. The Christian Children’s Club has not been as well attended, so we are working on developing new activities and promotional methods. Please pray for wisdom for this.

THE BAPTIST COLLEGE INTERNATIONAL

The annual Youth Conference was a success with 39 participants, who responded well to the preaching of Missionary Samuel Weimer. In May, Dr. Rick Houk, Chairman of the Bible Department at West Coast
Baptist College, preached a Graduation Bible Conference and the Commencement Service. We had one graduate and 4 students received a One-Year Certificate of Christian Ministry training, and all of them will be returning next year and we have 4 new first-year students enrolled.

FAMILY NEWS

Our son, John, brought his family to visit us for 3 weeks in May, and we had so much fun showing his four children our area of Eastern Europe! We celebrated our grand-daughter Dory’s 1st birthday at the
end of May. She and her family live with us. It has also been a year since Tim’s father passed away; so it is nice to have family near.
