End of 2025 Update

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF MINISTRY IN TIMISOARA

     In October, the Timișoara Baptist Church (Biserica Baptistă Locală Timișoara) celebrated its 20th Anniversary with over 120 in attendance and several founding members present. The international choir sang “The Faithfulness of God” and the congregation, made up of people from several nations, worshiped together with grateful hearts for all that the Lord has done and will do in the future.
     Over the holidays, we had a Ladies Meeting, Men’s Prayer Breakfast and special Christmas Eve and New Years Eve services – which brought our Romanian and Ukrainian services together for special times of singing, worship, food and fun. We also had several first-time visitors.
     We begin the new year with a new theme: HOLD FAST THE PROFESSION OF OUR FAITH – Hebrews 10:23. As we take our first official furlough since Covid, the church is continuing to minister to our families and to reach out to the community. They will be in good hands with the Bro. Brian and Arezoo, and also the Slighs (BIMI relief missionaries) will be coming to help in the church and college while we are gone. Please pray for them!

THE BAPTIST COLLEGE INTERNATIONAL – tbci.eu

     We had a very busy Fall semester with regular classes and a great modular on Digital Church Ministry.  We also traveled to 8 churches with our students for a Christmas Music Tour. We were warmly received and there were visitors at nearly every concert.
The Spring semester will begin on February 3, but several of our students will start online until it is possible for them to travel back.  Please pray for visa requirements and safe journeys for all 14 returning students.

FURLOUGH PLANS

     We wish we could get to every church, but due to the time restrictions of our permanent residence status, we will only be 4 months on furlough.  We hope to be in many of our supporting churches across the South West, for it has been too long since our last visit. Please pray for safety as we travel.
